Christmas Meeting of International Students at the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa

On 17 December 2025, the International Cooperation Office of the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa organised a Christmas meeting for international students participating in the Erasmus+ programme during the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

As part of the event, students took part in a festive gathering accompanied by refreshments and a presentation on Polish Christmas traditions and customs. The presentation was delivered by Łukasz Delekt, a student of English Philology at the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa, and provided participants with an introduction to traditional Polish holiday celebrations. The meeting concluded with a joint decorating of previously baked gingerbread cookies. The gingerbread had been prepared with great commitment by students from the Student Council of the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa, who also organised workshops dedicated to baking traditional Old Polish gingerbread. The Christmas meeting created a warm and welcoming atmosphere and offered an opportunity for cultural exchange and integration.

The University would like to thank all participants for their presence, engagement and for the time spent together.
