„Christmas Time”- Christmas Concert by the Jazz Department of the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa
In the pre-Christmas atmosphere, on 18 December 2025, a unique concert entitled ”Christmas Time” was held at the hospitable Nysa Cultural Centre, organized by the Jazz Department of the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa. Once again, this event became a true celebration of music, bringing together not only jazz lovers, but also anyone who wanted to experience the magic of Christmas in a unique artistic setting.
Students, lecturers and friends of the Jazz Department took to the stage, creating an extraordinary mosaic of talent and personality. The audience had the opportunity to hear both classic Christmas songs in jazz arrangements and original interpretations that brought freshness and energy to traditional melodies. Each performance was proof that music is a universal language, it connects generations, inspires and builds community.
The concert was attended by: University authorities, invited guests, residents of Nysa and employees of University of Applied Sciences in Nysa, which gave the event a unique, integrative character. he rector of the Nysa academy, Doc. Prof. Mariusz Kołosowski, addressed all with warm Christmas wishes, emphasizing the importance of the concert for the academic community and the city. In his speech, the rector noted that all the performers were full of passion, commitment and artistic energy, which gave the concert a unique character.
