Spanish Language Course for Students at the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa

Spanish Language Course for Students at the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa

From October 2025 to February 2026, a Spanish language course for students was held at the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa. The classes were conducted by M.A. Alicja Pieter, who introduced participants to the basics of one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, with a particular focus on practical communication in everyday situations.

Seven students from different fields of study took part in the course. The small group setting encouraged active participation during classes, frequent conversational practice, and an individual approach to each participant. As a result, students were able to quickly overcome language barriers and gain their first experience in using Spanish. The course programme covered the key topics necessary for basic communication, as well as the fundamental principles of grammar.

The classes were practical in nature: participants completed numerous communication exercises, dialogues, and tasks developing speaking and listening skills. This allowed them to immediately apply the knowledge gained in simple communicative situations. It is worth emphasizing that such courses are available to all students of the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa, especially those planning to take part in the Erasmus+ programme in Spain. The university regularly organizes additional language and skills development courses that help students expand their competences, gain new experience, and prepare for functioning in an international environment.
